Marshall Shill's journey is nothing short of inspirational. Joe Sperle started training Marshall when he was just 13 years old. In just one month, he struck out 15 batters in the Arizona 13-year-old State Championship in Phoenix, leading his team to victory against the Arrowhead District Phoenix team. This was particularly sweet, as it was the same team that had bested him in the 12-year-old Little League State Championship in Flagstaff just a month earlier. The head coach of the Arrowhead team even remarked after the game, "Marshall never threw that change-up pitch in Flagstaff when we beat them to advance to San Bernardino, CA, Western Little League Regional Tournament."
Joe Sperle, a dedicated coach and mentor, was recently involved in a severe car accident and is in need of support for his recovery.
